2020 has proven to be a strange year and it continues to change the ways we operate from a fundraising perspective.   But we will not roll over, we will adapt.
 
We are proud to introduce our 2020 challenge coin.  This is our 3rd annual challenge coin which will see all profits donated to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
 
September is Muscular Dystrophy awareness month and firefighters across North America are raising funds for MD.  Firefighters have been raising funds since 1954 and in Canada, firefighters annually fundraise more than 3 million dollars.
 
Our Association in it's history of fundraising for MD has raised more than $134,000.  And we aren't done yet.  We will continue to help in the fight for a cure.
 
This years challenge coin will showcase the MDC logo on one side with the current "245" number on the helmet representing our current number of association members.  The opposite side features our new "Oakville Firefighters Fighting For A Cure" logo surrounded by an MDC themed border.  The coin itself will be an antique brass finish.
